Unlocking the Power of Huddle 2018: The behind the scene stories

In November 2018, I embarked on my first-ever Huddle experience, a transformative event that would shape the trajectory of my startup journey. With a box of B-lite Cookies in hand and dreams of success in my heart, I stepped into Huddle 2018 with excitement and a touch of nervousness. Little did I know that this event would be a pivotal moment in my life.
Huddle 2018 was not just a conference; it was a revelation of opportunities and a meeting ground for like-minded individuals. As a college startup, attending events like Huddle was crucial, and it turned out to be a game-changer.
I vividly recall how I acquired my Huddle 2018 pass through Iedc Sahrdaya. Our mentor, Mr. Jibin Jose, urged us to seize the opportunities that Huddles had to offer. Without much planning, my friends Britto Lorence, BRISTO LORENCE, and I hopped on the last bus to Trivandrum. Britto’s dad came to our rescue, securing us accommodation a day before the program began.
The next morning, we arrived at the stunning Leela Kovalam and immersed ourselves in the program. Armed with A3 cut-out print brochures designed by a friend, we introduced our cookies to everyone we met. It was an exhilarating experience.
One of the highlights of Huddle 2018 was my first interaction with a multinational company CEO. Have you heard of Truecaller? I had the privilege of meeting them, and it left a lasting impression.
I can’t forget the inspirational talks by the organizers and startup mentors, Saji Gopinath and Ashok Panjikaran of Kerala Startup Mission. They shed light on the immense opportunities in the Kerala Startup ecosystem, opening our eyes to a world of possibilities.
These events expanded my horizons and inspired me to think and dream on a whole new level. I began to explore international business opportunities, especially in Sharjah, UAE, after learning from His Excellency Sheikh Fahim Bin Sultan Al Qasimi. Today, this endeavor has resulted in the establishment of Zaara Biotech LLC in Sharjah Media City.
Huddle 2018 was a turning point, but my journey didn’t stop there. An incredible lineup of visionary leaders, including Cisco’s MD, the Co-founder of Sign NEXT, the Global Partnership Head at UNTIL, and esteemed CEOs from the Startup Foundation, along with passionate startup founders and their mission teams, provided unwavering support. Each speech, conversation, and networking session acted as guiding stars, leading me towards success.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Kerala Startup Mission, the Government of Kerala, and the Internet and Mobile Association of India for hosting and sponsoring such innovative and market-opening events in Kerala. These platforms have enabled us to explore both domestic and international opportunities. And the excitement doesn’t end here – Huddle 2023 is just around the corner!
I look forward to seeing you all at the Zaara Biotech stall, where we’ll continue to chase our dreams and explore new horizons. Together, we’ll make the future even brighter.
